A dump of videos from a few years back of railroads in York, PA. Included are NS H96's yard moves, York Rail performing the interchange with NS, and ESPN serving kloeckner metals and bringing the cars to NS to interchange as well.

The day started fine for the H96 crew, serving Graham Packaging first followed by the standard sorting of inbound cars. Once they got a full string for York Rail, they head for YRC trackage in York City to drop it off. NS empty coal train 511 running on York Rail trackage. Once the empties are assembled they bring the train up from Spring Grove into York, PA where it is handed off from YRC to NS. The Pier 6 hopper made an appearance on this train

After chasing YRC RJ-2 down to Hanover and back, good timing results in catching 2 other YRC Crews. One switching West York, and the other (MPA-1) heading to the interchange with NS at Windsor St Yard. Once arriving at Windsor Street, they meet with NS switching the yard and serving the adjacent industries.

how do you know when that’s espn 1701 train is on the move?
I just go trackside on a random weekday morning. Sometimes they run sometimes they don’t, it’s a game of luck

Can you try to get more videos so espn 1701 on Stonewood or east market street? I live around that area and I love seeing that train whenever it comes by, although it doesn’t come by very often.
It’s a game of luck to see that. I’ve got a few clips I don’t know if I ever uploaded to UA-cam I can look for but I don’t really have the time to record them often like I used to
@@Nitsujy12345yeah. It’s rare to see it go by the Stonewood, east market, or cinema crossing. I’ve only ever seen it go by Stonewood road once

@@coolchase3488They ran down that way last week to drop off an oversized load. They’ll be going back down there to pick up the empty flat once it’s ready, but I won’t be able to catch it

They all got repaired
This was a once in a lifetime event, and NS is no longer hosting steam excursions. But, the 2102 is back and once 425 is done with it's inspection and teardown, maybe they could send it to JT to do the Gorge trains on the same day 2102 is running from Reading and they could whistle duel. The 765 has a unique Nathan six chime whistle though. But sometimes they put other whistles on it. Now you would have to travel to Ohio at least to ride behind it. The last time 765 and 425 met before this was late July 1988 at Temple, PA when the 765 ran two excursions from Bound Brook, NJ over Conrail to Temple, PA and return as part of a Tri State convention in NJ. Also, RBMN has coaches they acquired from a tourist railroad in Colorado and other places a few years ago including a few steel heavyweights with opening windows that they call Crown Class. They have since been repainted into RBMN red. They have plusher seats than the ex-DL&W trailers.

Seeing 1500 brings back memories. Even 1606 is on the dead line making way for the GP15-1 watch them switch just down the line at A and S kindard
So thats why the 3 trains are parked? Thats not good, 1604 will be the last gp16 they have except 1600

@Ryan Hatterer They should keep 1500 and give it to a company that will keep it as history because YRC 1500 was the last CF7 that was rebuilt
@@xavienchatman The GP16’s are on the dead line as they are under the list of locomotives that have to be disabled or scrapped as a result of the rebuild lawsuit against GW

Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! Dear performers! I congratulate and wish you all the best to perform well in more and more pieces like this. When all the four of you simultaneously play in homo rhythm it sounds like playing duplication of same copy of melody on both of the hands with addition of two more keys in between on foot-pumped harmonium.
